Telehealth now a permanent option within the NYS workers’ compensation system

The Chair has adopted the addition of section 325-1.26 to Title 12 of the NYCRR to establish telehealth as a permanent part of the workers’ compensation system, replacing the previous emergency regulations that allowed for telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The new regulation took effect July 11, 2023. The Board sent telehealth guidance to payers on July 13, 2023.

Forms filing update

The Board recently alerted stakeholders about proper procedures and future changes related to existing Board forms.
