What Providers Need to Know Webinar: New Date Added

In light of the positive feedback we received from November's "What Providers Need to Know" webinar, the Board is pleased to continue offering these presentations for health care providers on a regular basis, with the next one scheduled for January 19, 2022. CMS-1500

The Board recently shared some reminders for health care providers and payers regarding the CMS-1500 initiative, including some important deadlines and additional resources. Email your questions to CMS1500@wcb.ny.gov.

OnBoard

The launch of OnBoard: Limited Release, the first phase of the Board's new business information system that will bring several provider processes online, is imminent! Be sure you are up to date with all the latest information regarding OnBoard by visiting the OnBoard section of our website and sign up to receive email notifications so you are informed of the exact launch date for OnBoard: Limited Release.

Medical Treatment Guidelines (MTGs)

Public comments are being reviewed and processed for the following New York Medical Treatment Guidelines (MTGs): Traumatic Brain Injury, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Occupational Eye Disorders. We anticipate these new MTGs to be adopted early in 2022 to coincide with the launch of OnBoard: Limited Release. DME Fee Schedule Update

The Chair has adopted the amendments to section 442.2 of Title 12 NYCRR to correct several codes and update the Official New York Workers' Compensation Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Fee Schedule. You can read more in Subject Number 046-1483.

Updated Number of Authorized Providers

Since January 1, 2020, more than 14,000 health care provider applications have been processed for Board authorization as a result of the Expanded Provider Law. Learn more about how you can become Board-authorized.
