Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(4), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board has exercised his authority to temporarily suspend Dr. Eugene Jeno Gosy's authorization to treat injured workers within the New York State workers' compensation system effective May 6, 2016. Dr. Gosy's last known business address is 100 College Parkway, Suite 220, Williamsville, New York 14221.

The Chair's designee's investigation has revealed that Dr. Gosy has been indicted in the United States District Court, Western District of New York, for various violations of United States Code, including Title 21, Sections 846 and 841(a)(1), and Title 18, Sections 1349, 1347, resulting in 114 Counts and 2 Forfeiture Allegations.

The Chair believes that Dr. Gosy may be guilty of misconduct, and that such misconduct would detrimentally affect the quality of care provided to injured workers. Therefore, Dr. Gosy is prohibited from rendering treatment and care to injured workers while his authorization is temporarily suspended. Reports submitted by Dr. Gosy for services rendered prior to May 6, 2016, are valid, but are invalid for any services rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Gosy for services rendered prior to May 6, 2016, should not be denied due to the suspension of his authorization.
