Please be advised that, effective January 1, 2008, the New York State Department of Education deemed the medical license of Richard Jorge Banchs, M.D., to be inactive. No current business address is available for Dr. Banchs.

Effective January 1, 2008, Dr. Banchs is precluded from rendering medical treatment and care to individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses. Medical reports submitted by Dr. Banchs for treatment or examinations rendered prior to January 1, 2008, are valid, but are invalid for any treatment or examinations rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Banchs regarding treatment or examinations he rendered prior to January 1, 2008, should not be denied due to the inactive status of his medical license.
