Please be advised that Roselyn J. Rice, M.D., permanently surrendered her license to practice medicine and agreed to never reapply for a license in the State of New York by Surrender Order (BPMC No. 09-131), effective July 21, 2009. Previously by Commissioner's Order and Notice of Referral Proceeding, effective July 14, 2008, Dr. Rice's license to practice medicine in the State of New York was summarily suspended until such order was vacated. The Surrender Order (BPMC No. 09-131) supersedes the July 14, 2008, Commissioner's Order. No current business address is available for Dr. Rice.

Dr. Rice is prohibited from rendering medical treatment and care to individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses. Medical reports submitted by Dr. Rice for treatment rendered prior to July 14, 2008, are valid, but are invalid for any treatment rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Rice regarding treatment she rendered prior to July 14, 2008, should not be denied due to the summary suspension or surrender of her license.
