Please be advised that the registration of Dr. Samuel G. Leather's New York State medical license expired effective close of business August 31, 2003. Consequently, Dr. Leather may not practice medicine in the State of New York effective September 1, 2003. Dr. Leather's name has accordingly been removed from the list of physicians authorized to render medical treatment and care in the New York State workers' compensation system. No current business address is available for Dr. Leather.

Dr. Leather is prohibited from rendering medical or other treatment and care to individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses. Medical reports submitted by Dr. Leather for treatment rendered prior to September 1, 2003, are valid, but are invalid for any treatment rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Leather regarding treatment he rendered prior to September 1, 2003, should not be denied due to the expiration of the registration of his medical license or the removal of his name from the list of authorized physicians.
