Effective July 2, 2008, the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board rescinded the designation of Medex of Central New York, Inc. as an entity registered to derive income from independent medical examinations in workers' compensation cases. This rescission is made pursuant to the Chair's authority under Sections 13-n and 141 of the Workers' Compensation Law and 12 NYCRR 300.2[e]. This rescission is permanent. As of the effective date of this rescission, the entity named above is permanently prohibited from deriving income from independent medical examinations in workers' compensation cases. Examinations conducted through this entity prior to July 2, 2008, are valid.
