Please be advised that effective February 26, 2007, the State Board for Professional Medical Conduct suspended Gene Brignoni, M.D.'s license to practice medicine for 12 months, and effective February 26, 2007, Dr. Brignoni voluntarily resigned his authorization (Number 156598-5W) to treat workers' compensation claimants. Dr. Brignoni's last known office address is 107 Northern Boulevard, Suite 306, Great Neck, New York 11021.

Dr. Brignoni is prohibited from rendering medical or other treatment and care to individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses. Medical reports submitted by Dr. Brignoni for treatment or examinations rendered prior to February 26, 2007 are valid, but are invalid for any treatment or examinations rendered on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. Brignoni regarding treatment or examinations he rendered prior to February 26, 2007 should not be denied due to the suspension of his license or this resignation.
