The Chair has adopted amendments to sections 355.4, 363.1, 363.11, 363.13, and the addition of sections 363.15 and 363.16 to Title 12 of the NYCRR to update and clarify the disability benefits regulations and disability benefits claims process, conform the regulations to the statute, and align several sections with Paid Family Leave.

The Notice of Proposed Rule Making was published in the October 12, 2022, edition of the State Register. The Notice of Adoption will be published in the May 10, 2023, edition of the State Register, and these changes will take effect January 1, 2024.
