Subject Numbers Regarding Health Provider Authorizations

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(4), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board ("Chair") had exercised her authority to temporarily suspend Dr. Aleksandr Khaimov's authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers' compensation system effective March 16, 2023 (Subject Number 046-1592).

The temporary suspension was based on Dr. Khaimov's failure and/or refusal to produce documents in response to a Notice to Produce served upon him by the Chair's designee, which is a violation of WCL §13-d(2)(f).

Upon receipt of Dr. Khaimov's Response to the aforementioned Notice to Produce, the Chair has rescinded the temporary suspension, and has reinstated Dr. Khaimov's authority to treat injured workers effective, March 31, 2023. The Medical Director's Office will restore Dr. Khaimov to the list of providers authorized to treat injured workers, effective March 31, 2023.
