Subject Numbers Regarding Health Provider Authorizations

Pursuant to Workers' Compensation Law Section 13-d(4), the Chair of the New York State Workers' Compensation Board (“Chair”) had exercised his authority to temporarily suspend Dr. Xiaoliang Zhang’s authorization to treat injured workers in the New York State workers’ compensation system effective August 16, 2017 (Subject Number 046-975).

Upon receipt of notification that BPMC Order No. 17-276, upon which the temporary suspension was based, is no longer in effect, the Chair has rescinded the temporary suspension of Dr. Zhang, and has reinstated his authority to treat injured workers effective June 4, 2018. The Medical Director’s Office will restore Dr. Zhang to the list of providers authorized to treat injured workers by June 4, 2018.
