Please be advised that, effective May 1, 2010, Richard P. DeBenedetto, Ph.D., voluntarily resigned his authorization to treat and conduct independent medical examinations of individuals who have suffered work-related injuries and illnesses. Dr. DeBenedetto's business address is 66 Main Street, Bedford Hills, New York 10507.

Dr. DeBenedetto is prohibited from rendering medical or other treatment and care to and conducting independent medical examinations of individuals who have suffered work-related injuries or illnesses. Medical reports submitted by Dr. DeBenedetto for treatment rendered or examinations conducted prior to May 1, 2010, are valid, but are invalid for any treatment rendered or examinations conducted on or after that date. Requests to cross-examine Dr. DeBenedetto regarding treatment he rendered or examinations he conducted prior to May 1, 2010, should not be denied due to the voluntary resignation of his authorization.
